Scott Hill-Kennedy
President Scott Hill-Kennedy has been involved with Mecosta County for 20 years. He has been on the MCCF board since 2006 and is currently the Board President. Scott also serves as the Chairman of the Grants Committee. He was drawn to the foundation because he feels the people who are associated with MCCF have experiences, skills, and talents that, when combined with a passion for improving the lives of our neighbors, means some real and positive outcomes are and have been attainable. Scott is on many other community boards and commissions. He enjoys partnering with his wife on some of the community activities which she is involved with. |
Tim Zehr
First Vice President Tim Zehr became involved with the MCCF in 2007. He is currently Chairperson of the Asset Development/Fundraising Committee and sits on the Public Relations Committee. Tim’s strong belief in the ability of this community to enhance the quality of life in this area is the reason he has joined MCCF. Active in his church and devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren, Tim also enjoys farming and horseback riding. |
Debbie Patterson
Second Vice President Deb Patterson was born and raised in Mecosta County and her commitment to the county is obvious. The opportunity to improve the quality of life in Mecosta County and work with area youth as the Chairperson of the Youth Advisory Council (MCYAC) is what led Deb to become involved in 1998 with MCCF. She also sits on the Grant Activity Committee and the Website Committee. Deb is involved in many other community boards and commissions. She enjoys working in her garden, reading, traveling, and spending time with her extended family. |
Nick Scheible
Treasurer Nick Scheible, as a lifelong Mecosta County resident, has seen the great things MCCF has done for the community and wanted to get involved. His financial background has put him in the position of Treasurer of the Board. Nick’s commitment to Mecosta County is evident because he is always looking for ways to better the community. He also serves the community on other boards and commissions. Nick and his wife, Melissa, continue to enjoy everything Mecosta County has to offer. |
Yulanda Bellingar
Director Yulanda (Yo) Bellingar has been with MCCF since 2002 and currently serves on the Grant Activity Committee and on the Public Relations Committee. Yo became involved with the foundation because she strongly believes in helping organizations and students in the local area. She has made Mecosta County home since 1953, where she is currently the Morton Township Clerk and also serves on many other community boards and commissions. Yo enjoys being active, making a difference in the community and meeting people. |
Stacy Chaput
Director Stacy Chaput has lived in Mecosta County for most of her life and has developed a strong commitment to the area. She is involved in many community activities such as Leadership Mecosta, Paint Big Rapids Pink, the Celebrity Harness Race, and St. Mary’s Church. After 10 years as an Associate Broker, she has chosen to stay at home with her 2 daughters. Stacy and her husband love being involved in the community and showing their children to do the same. In her spare time, Stacy enjoys everything outside as well as riding horses and being involved with 4-H. |
Rita Conrad
Director Rita Conrad has been involved in Mecosta County since 1970. Her firm belief that we all need to be involved and be willing to give back to our community is what led her to the MCCF in 2001. Rita is currently the Chairperson of the Scholarship Committee and sits on the Annual Events Committee and the Emeriti Committee. She has been involved in many community and church organizations, especially the MCMC Auxiliary and Gift Shop. Rita enjoys traveling, especially to visit her 5 grandchildren, playing bridge, reading, skiing, golfing and gardening. |
Patsy Eisler
Director Patsy Eisler’s desire to help others is what inspired her to get involved with MCCF in 2008. Her experience as a school teacher has led her to serve on the Youth Advisory Committee. She also serves on the Grant Activity Committee. Patsy has lived in Mecosta County since 2003 is the founder of the First Lady’s Attic at Ferris State University. She enjoys reading mystery novels and needle work. |
David Hamelund
Director As a lifelong resident of Mecosta County, David Hamelund wants to give back to the community his time and talents because he is so grateful for what the community has given him. David has been involved in MCCF since 2007. He currently serves on the Youth Advisory Council. David serves his community on various boards and commissions. He is married with one son and feels privileged to serve his church as a Sunday school teacher. |
Robert Hampson, Jr.
Director Robert Hampson, Jr. has been on the board of trustees since 1997. His commitment to the community began when he moved to Big Rapids in 1978. Bob is a former President of the Board of Trustees, is currently the Chairperson of the Emeriti Committee and also sits on the Grant Activity Committee and the Asset Development/Fundraising Committee. He has been involved on numerous community and Ferris boards and commissions. He and his wife, Paula love to travel, visit their children and grandchildren, and see new places. |
Karl Linebaugh
Director Karl W. Linebaugh has been in Mecosta County since 1972. His drive to help develop endowments to benefit the citizens of Mecosta County led him to MCCF in 1990, with the inception of the foundation. Karl is currently on the Emeriti Committee. He belongs to other community boards and commissions. Karl enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 daughters and their husbands and 2 grandchildren. |
Richard Marino
Director As one of the newest board members, Richard Marino got involved with MCCF because of his desire to be involved with the Mecosta County Community. It didn’t take Richard long to see where his time and talents could be utilized, as he has lived in Mecosta County since 2007. His knack of development and involvement has him being drawn into many of the foundations committees. In his free time, Richard enjoys playing golf. |
Michael Mohnke
Director As a business owner, Mike came to the MCCF because he felt a sense of responsibility to the community. Having made Mecosta County his home since 1972, he became involved with the foundation in 2000. Currently Mike serves on the Public Relations Committee and the Asset Development/Fundraising Committee. He also serves on other community boards and commissions. Mike is an alumni of Big Rapids High School and Ferris State University and he has a very strong belief in the Mecosta County Community. |
John Norton
Director John Norton has experience with the work MCCF has done as he has worked with the Foundation since 2003. John wants to give for the betterment of community. John is currently Chairperson of the Public Relations Committee and sits on the Asset Development/Fundraising Committee, and the Scholarship Committee. Additionally he sits on various community boards and commissions. John enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, golfing, fishing and running. |
Judy Tressler
Director Judy Tressler has been involved in MCCF since 2002. She currently sits on the Public Relations Committee and is instrumental in preparing the MCCF newsletter. Judy has lived in Mecosta County for 28 years, serving on many other community boards and commissions. Her involvement with the foundation stems from her philosophy of wanting to “pay back” to the community and give of her time and talents for a worthy cause. Judy stays very active in the community as the director of the hand-bell choir at her church, playing golf, skiing and playing bridge. |
Gary Trimarco
Past President Gary Trimarco started with MCCF in 2002 and is currently the Board of Director’s Past President. His passion to give back to such a great community as Mecosta County is the driving force behind his commitment and leadership. Gary currently serves on the Executive Committee, the Scholarship Committee and the Emeriti Committee. In addition to serving his community with MCCF, Gary also sits on various community boards and commissions. His passion for life includes his dedication to his wife, his dogs and baseball. |
Robyn Stratton
Administrative Executive Robyn’s recent move to Mecosta County has led to her involvement with MCCF. Her desire to serve the community and love of organizational development has made her a good fit with helping the foundation move forward. In her free time, Robyn enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering. |
